2010

We gladly welcome in the New Year. Looking back at 2009, it was both sad and exciting. We lost my Pop in March, my Nana in June, and Brent's Granddad in June. The holidays were sad without each one of them. But we know where they are and will be with them again.
2009 also brought exciting news that we would be having a baby. Olivia Grace has been so excited that she is going to be a big sister.
I went for my doctors appointment on Thursday and found out that my blood pressure is up so now I have been put on bed rest. So I am now on my 2nd full day. Let me tell you it is not much fun, especially with a 4 year old. There have been plenty of times that I just wished I had a day to be lazy. But when you are told you have to, it is a different story. I am not ready for Miss Annalyse to make her first debute, so I will do what I have to. Olivia Grace has been a trooper. She went shopping with her Daddy yesterday and today she went to a movie with her aunt and 2 uncles. So she has had plenty of attention. We will make it!! We shall see on Monday!

Sorry about the bedrest. I hope it's not for too long. I didn't handle it well at all, but looking back I wish I'd made a little better use of the time by organizing pictures or doing some kind of project like making haribows. It's easy to get despressed when you can't leave the house, so I always made sure people knew that I welcomed company. The time may drag, but after the baby is here it will be a distant memory! Hang in there!
