After the snow began to melt Christmas morning we headed to Ft. Smith for our Richardson (Gigi's side) Christmas. We had a wonderful lunch at my aunt and uncle's house. Olivia Grace got to play with my cousin's kids (Maggie, Chloe Jean, and Charlie) and her cousin Jordan. Then we headed to Mamaw and Papaw's house for presents. However we didn't give any presents because ours were "stuck" in Fayetteville. When it got time for us to go home Olivia Grace decided she wanted to stay. We told her that her Santa gifts were waiting on her in Fayetteville, but she said that I could just maybe open a couple of them for her. This worked out great so that Santa and his helper could get all of her gifts ready. So needles to say we had a terrific Christmas!!

We had a Merry Christmas this year. You know things don't always go as planned. We went to Papaw's and Mimi's house on Wednesday (Christmas Eve Eve). We celebrated with the Silvey family all day on Christmas Eve. It was also Papaw's birthday too!! Well, you know the weatherman kept saying it was going to snow. Well, we got "stuck" in Mansfield. Brent and his Dad tried to make it to Fayetteville but could only get to Ft. Smith before they had to turn around. The streets were just too bad!! The weatherman was RIGHT!!! So what to do, what to do??? Santa did have 1 gift to leave for Olivia Grace at Mimi's and Papaw's (the rest were in Fayetteville). I felt so sad for OG, but it was NOT a big deal to her at all. Santa left her a note and told her that his sleigh was just to heavy because of the snow and that he left the rest at her house in Fayetteville. Just goes to show that they don't need much to make them happy!! In spite of the change in plans, we had a wonderful time with the Silvey clan. Olivia Grace LOVES to play with her cousins Colton and Chandlan. I hate to say that we didn't take any family or group pictures with Brent's family. And we even got a NEW camera for Christmas!! Yes, I have a new camera. It was TIME!! So I won't fuss about mine anymore!!

Visit with Santa Clause

While we were in Branson Olivia Grace made a visit to see Santa. She didn't mind sitting on his lap but I did have to be the "translator" between her and him. I think she was a little shy (believe it or not), but there were about 4 or 5 people taking pictures of her. She told him that she wanted Hello Kitty skates (he doesn't make these - I've checked) and a plasma car.

Branson Weekend

Last weekend we headed to Branson for a family weekend. Gigi headed up from Little Rock on Friday and then we met Mimi, Papaw, Uncle Dustin, Aunt Kristen, and Uncle Allen at a house we had rented. It was a great house. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. There was even enough room for the Young's to join us on Saturday night. The weather was HORRIBLE on Saturday, so we just shopped. Olivia Grace also got to talk to Santa Clause. Then Saturday evening we headed to Silver Dollar City for the light parade. Then Sunday we went back to Silver Dollar City for rides and shows. We all had a great weekend together.

Caroline Turns 4

Another friend turns 4!! Caroline had a dancing party a few weeks ago. The kids dressed up and learned dances. Daddy took Olivia Grace to the party this time. Mommy hated to miss, but we were having a progressive dinner for our street that same evening. Olivia Grace said she had a great time. She came home wearing a new tutu!!! Happy Birthday Caroline!!

We Have a Name

Baby Girl Silvey has a name. We have decided to name her Annalyse (which means graceful, devoted to God). We have not yet decided on a middle name. We are throwing around 4 different names for the middle. So at this point her name is Annalyse Silvey. Olivia Grace said she likes it and is beginning to use her name instead of baby. My c-section date has been moved up a day to January 14th. Annalyse will be here before we know it!! We are so excited!!!!

Thanksgiving lunch at Jordan's school.
We had a terrific Thanksgiving. Olivia Grace and I started the holiday in Little Rock on Monday. On Tuesday we had Thanksgiving lunch with Jordan at his school (exactly what I wanted to eat)!!! Then we celebrated Aunt Ellen's birthday that night. This year her birthday fell on Thanksgiving day. Dukes came too, so we got to spend some special time with him. On Wednesday we helped GiGi decorate her house for Christmas. Then we headed to Ft. Smith and GiGi followed. Brent picked up OG and they headed to the cabin. I met up with the Silvey family on Thanksgiving day at the cabin. OG was in heaven with Colton and Chandlan. They ran, played, went in the woods, etc... MiMi made us a yummy Thanksgiving meal. On Friday morning everyone (almost everyone) went hunting. Papaw surprised us all and shot a dear. That was interesting. Then as we were leaving we got to "transport" the deer in the back of the Expedition to the meat man. Yes, OG sat in the back with a dead deer. She asked if we were teasing when we told her it was back there. But she quickly saw the antlers sticking out of a plastic bag. We finished up Thanksgiving at Mamaw and Papaw's house. GiGi was there so we got to spend some more time with her. So needles to say we had a great Thanksgiving and we have so much to be thankful for.
