Christmas Parade and Lighting

Last night we headed to the square for the lighting of the Ozarks. We have made this a tradition with many of our neighbors. We always have a great time and the kids love it. This year the Denton's went with us and then we went to dinner. It was a great night!!! It always puts us in the Christmas spirit.

Super Heros Party

Yesterday Olivia Grace went to Brooks and Russell's birthday party. It was a Super Hero's party at the new Fun City. So that meant we got one more public wear out of OG's Super Girl costume (the one she decided she didn't want to wear Halloween). For some strange reason I didn't get a picture of OG at the party. You can see her at the end of this picture. I guess I was talking too much. Russell and Brooks are not brothers, just neighbors. They have been OG's buddies since we moved here. Happy 4th Birthday Russell and Brooks.

Thanksgiving Feast

Today Olivia Grace had her Thanksgiving Feast at school. Each of the kids were given an Indian (Native American) name. Olivia Grace's was Dancing Butterfly. I thought it fit her perfectly. They had a great Thanksgiving lunch together.

Baby Shower

On Sunday I had another great baby shower. This one was mainly from our neighborhood. I have been so blessed with so many wonderful neighbors/friends. It was hosted by Michelle, JoAnn, Kimberly, Meredith, Lisa, and Christy. It was at Michelle's house. Everything was so special. They had asked my to send them a list of prayer request that Brent and I had for Baby Silvey. Then at the shower they had made adorable magnets that each person left with. On the magnet they listed one of the prayer request, so that friend could pray for that specific request. I had never seen this and it meant so much. Thanks everyone for a special day!!

Our Prayer Request

1. Her salvation.
2. That she would be a healthy baby girl.
3. That she would be picky when choosing her friends.
4. That her and Olivia Grace would love each other.
5. For her future mate.
6. That she would have a heart of a servant.
7. That sin would be distasteful to her.

Razorback Game

We were invited by the Czeschin's to go to the Razorback game with them in their box for the game on Saturday. We always love going (weather doesn't matter, food to eat, and can move around). The kiddos were also invited, so OG was thrilled. The Greenfield's were also invited so OG got to see Carter Wayne and Sawyer. The Czeschin kiddos were there too (Haley and Trey). Plus two other girls to play with. So the kids played, Mommy's talked, and Daddy's watched the game. It is always fun to catch-up with great friends. It was just a perfect night!!! Thanks Melissa and Clint!!!

Razorback Game

Saturday GiGi, Aunt Ellen, and Jordan came to Fayetteville. We all went to the Razorback game. We didn't get to sit by each other, but it was fun knowing we were all there. Olivia Grace had been reminding me when we would drive by campus that she had not been to a game this year. So, thanks to the Czeschin's, she got to go. I'll post picts of the game soon!!!

Nursery Update

Here is another sneak peak of Baby Silvey's nursery (YES still using Baby Silvey as a name!!). We FINALLY found the second lime green (thanks to Pam). So this weekend Brent finished painting and we finished the light fixture. I am so excited how the light turned out. This week Brent will put up the molding. I can't wait to see the finished product!!!

Musical Debute

Last night Olivia Grace made her first musical depute. She was so excited that she got to sing up on stage at church. We have been going to choir this fall. I have been helping with the 4 year olds (OG is still considered a 3 year old). Not in the same class, but we do the same things. MiMi, Papaw and Aunt Kristen came to see her sing. She did a great job and didn't have stage fright.

Chuck E. Cheese's

Saturday we headed to Chuck E. Cheese's for a birthday party for our cousin Charlie (OG's 2nd cousin). Charlie turned 3 last week. I do have to say that Charlie is one of the cutest little boys I have ever seen. He is just adorable. He is as sweet as he is cute. Olivia Grace had a blast playing games and riding on the rides (right up her alley). Happy Birthday Charlie!!

Baby Shower

Last Thursday we had a great shower at the Boyd's house. It was a couples shower with kiddos. Olivia Grace was SO excited that she got to go and that we were going to have cupcakes. Not to mention that all of her friends were going to be there too. We had some yummy appetizers (you know GOOD shower food) and the great cupcakes. I thought OG would want to open up presents, but she was TOO busy playing dress-up with the girls. Baby Silvey got some really cute things. I can't wait to get them into a completed nursery. Thanks girls (and guys) for a great shower!!

Fancy Nancy

Today Olivia Grace was in a Book Character Parade at school. She decided to be Fancy Nancy. Thanks to our sweet Nana, Dukes, and Aunt Ellen we had everything we needed to be a great Fancy Nancy. The kids were so cute and enjoyed walking in the parade. Olivia Grace even spoke into the microphone. She told everyone her name (speech is coming along so great. Everyone could understand her). She also told them she was Fancy Nancy. It made her Mommy so proud.

Baby Shower

Tuesday night I had my first baby shower. It was from some terrific friends from church. It was also a shower for Laura who is due around the same time as me. Once a month we get together for a "Ladies Night." So they made this month our shower. It was Kim Darr's house (a dear friend from LR who also threw a shower for OG). There was plenty of yummy food and a delicious cake (1/2 pink for me and 1/2 blue for Laura). Not to mention I got some really cute things for Baby Girl Silvey (NO she does not have a name yet). Olivia Grace did not attend this shower, but the next morning she had so much fun going through everything. Thanks everyone for a fun night. I have be truly blessed with a great church and church family.

BOO!!!

We had a great Halloween!! Olivia Grace woke up saying that she did not want to be Super Girl anymore and that she wanted to be a cowgirl. At least we already had a super cute cowgirl outfit from her birthday party. So needles to say she was a cowgirl for Halloween. We started Halloween evening at the Boyd's house for our annual party. We had some yummy food. The kids looked super cute (as always). It is always so neat to look back at the pictures from the last 3 years and compare how much they have grown. We have always taken a picture of the kids on the couch. As you can see we are running out of room. We know for sure that next year there will be 2 new additions. The kids were really into Trick-or-Treating this year! The first house we came to handed out M&M's. Well our sweet little girl yells out, "Mommy I don't like these!!!" Needles to say we had a quick conversation about manners and had an agreement that Mommy and Daddy would eat ALL of her chocolate. Thanks Boyd's for a fun party!
We then headed back to our neighborhood for more Trick-or-Treating. We went around the neighborhood with Caleb (skeleton), Baby Noah (fireman), and Ava Claire (pink poodle). The kids had a blast and got LOTS of candy. It was a great Halloween!!
