First Time at Church

Today was Annalyse's first time to go to church. She did really good - slept the entire service!!!!I was so glad to be back at church too. Six weeks without being in God's house is just way too long. Brent and I have been so blessed to have 2 beautiful, healthy girls. It is our desire to raise them in a Godly home and church is the best place for them to learn how to be followers of Christ. Our prayer is that Olivia Grace and Annalyse fall in love with God's word and come to know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

Mimi and Papaw's

Saturday was Annalyse's first trip to Mimi and Papaw's house. After the party we headed to their house for dinner and a relaxing evening.

The Boys

On Saturday we headed towards Mansfield for the boys birthday party. They wanted to have a bounce house party. The kids loved it!! Of course OG loved playing with the boys. Colton turned 7 and Chandlan turned 5 this month. Happy Birthday Boys!! We love you.

She's Growing

We weighed Annalyse Friday when we went to see Daddy at work. She weighs 10 lbs. 11.5 oz. She is growing!! Mommy is doing her job!!!

Jaime Visits

Saturday my old roomie Jaime came to see us. She and another sorority sister, Heather, drove in from Benton for the day. Jaime couldn't wait to get her hands on Annalyse. She also brought a special gift for Annalyse. It is something special for the nursery. I will post it later when the nursery is completed (it is getting close). I am really excited about it!!! So we spent most of the day at home (just a little shopping). Then our other roomie Jo Ann came over. It is always great for the three of us to be together. Anita met up with us for dinner that evening. It felt so great to be out of the house with the "girls." Thanks Jaime for making a special trip just to see Annalyse.

Razorback Gymnastics

Friday night Anita and I took the "big" girls to the Razorback Gymnastics meet. First we took them to dinner and then headed to the meet. I was really impressed with the gymnastics. Olivia Grace's attention was not kept as well as I thought it might be. There was a lot going on in many areas and it didn't start until 7:00pm, so that might have been part of the problem. Well, and not to mention that as soon as we got there she thought she needed a snack. But it was a fun girls night!!!

Last Wednesday I told Brent that Annalyse smiled at me, but he didn't believe me. On Thursday she did it again and Brent was home. He believes me now!!! I am going to treasure every "first" with Annalyse. I didn't capture every one of Olivia Grace's first, so I'm going to do my best to get them with Annalyse.

One night last week I caught Daddy and his girls snuggled up in the chair. I love it!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!! We have had a great weekend. Gigi came to stay with us!! Today we woke up with a few Valentine goodies. Then Gigi, the girls and I went to Ft. Smith to see Mamaw and Papaw. They were amazed at how much Annalyse had grown since they had seen her in the hospital. Then we headed home and Brent and Olivia Grace made a surprise Valentine's dinner for me. How Sweet!!!

1 Month Old

Our precious baby girl is already 1 month old. It is so hard to believe. Annalyse has been a really good baby. We are beginning to see her eyes a little more each day. I had forgotten how much they sleep at first. She is getting up about every 3 hours during the night (except the last 3 - she only got up 1 time). She likes her bath time. She is learning to like her bouncy seat and swing. Annalyse's big sister has been great. She loves to kiss on her and call her little munchkin. I am soaking up every single minute of her. What a blessing she is!!!

Snowgirl

We had another beautiful snow yesterday!! This snow was perfect for making a snowman/snowgirl. So Brent and OG got busy last night. This is Olivia Grace's first snowgirl. She named her Suzie. She's pretty cute!

First Bottle

On Saturday Annalyse took her first bottle and her big sister gave it to her. She did really good taking it, which makes Mommy EXTREMELY happy. Now I can be gone for an extended amount of time and not having to worry. Olivia Grace was so excited about feeding her baby sister.

Happy Birthday Eli

Saturday Olivia Grace got to go to her friend Eli's birthday party. Mimi came and stayed with Annalyse, so it was just Mommy and OG (Daddy had to work). The party was a cake decorating party. Each of the kids got to decorate a cookie, cupcake, and their own cake. Olivia Grace loved it!! She loves icing as you can see. It was a fun party. Happy Birthday Eli!!
